The flat belt conveyor belt is one of the most prevalent conveyor systems in use today. Flat belts are useful for internal conveyance, i.e. transporting items within a facility. How Flat Belt Conveyors Work

2. Transportation: The motor-driven belt moves the products
along the conveyor path.
3. Processing (Optional): Some conveyors have additional features
for sorting, inspection, or quality control.
4. Unloading Stage: Products are discharged at the end of the
conveyor for further processing, packaging, or storage.
Main Components of a Flat Belt Conveyor.
Belt: The surface that moves and carries materials.
Drive Pulley (Head Pulley): Powered by a motor, this moves the belt forward.
Idler Pulley (Tail Pulley): Supports the belt and helps maintain tension.
Motor: Provides power to drive the conveyor belt.
Frame: The structure that supports the conveyor system.
Rollers or Slider Bed: Helps in reducing friction and supporting the belt.
